WESGROUP PROPERTIES (JANUARY 2007 - MARCH 2008)
Working for one of Western Canada's largest privately held real estate organizations, Reggie was responsible for the management of the company's commercial portfolio of over 2.4 million square feet of office, industrial and retail assets throughout the Greater Vancouver area.
Reggie effectively reviewed and negotiated all company lease renewals as well as fostered and maintained relationships with commercial brokers and national tenants in order to secure new build to suit mixed-use sites. He developed and implemented complex quarterly lease budgets with emphasis on identifying and securing additional revenue opportunities and cost avoidance savings and presented to ownership and rest of executive team.
In this role, Reggie further developed his competency in drafting and reviewing all forms of intricate real estate contracts and agreements. His strong analytical abilities and strategic thinking abilities were instrumental in ensuring the company's vacancy rates were always kept well below 2%. He was recognized internally for his strong work ethic, excellent organizational, conceptual and problem-solving skills.
WINDRIDGE PROPERTIES (DECEMBER 2002 - JANUARY 2007)
As Sales and Marketing Director, Reggie lead the building and management of multiple sales and internal marketing teams and their respective activities. He also oversaw the sales administration staff at the corporate Head Office.
The company developed marketed and sold all types of real estate asset class, including single family, multi-family and commercial retail projects in the lower mainland and select communities throughout British Columbia.
Reggie established the company's workforce requirements for each project, while nurturing a strong and loyal team. He worked side-by-side with the principals in order to identify acquisition opportunities, develop market intelligence and was involved in every step of the planning and approvals process. He was most often the face of the company at municipal hearings and media interviews. Reggie developed close working relationships with city counselors, mayors and other elected officials, architects, engineers and real estate agents throughout the province.
In this role, Reggie perfected his lead by example style of leadership and learnt how to develop and maintain relationships with other industry professionals. He is recognized by ownership as being a strong team player who is comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced environment and was trusted to work independently in developing and putting into action his sales and marketing systems.
ULINDER RENNIE (FEBRUARY 1997 - SEPTEMBER 2000)
Reggie joined Ulinder Rennie Project Marketing Systems in 1997 after a short internship with the firm. Before the first week of interning was up, Reggie at age 18 had made an impression on the owners who in turn offered him the newly created position of Project Coordinator. The partnership originally founded by Dan Ulinder and Bob Rennie has since evolved into what is now, The Rennie Group. Bob Rennie remains the founder and executive director and his son Kris Rennie is now principal.
Reggie spent nearly 4 years in his role as project coordinator and was also actively involved in the sales of developments during this time. He later left the firm to finish his education, and following that spent 6 years in executive management roles for some of Vancouver's most respected developers. Reggie returned to Rennie in 2008 and is now a Project Manager and a top producing Rennie Sales Advisor. During his first years under the original label in the role of project coordinator, Reggie was involved in campaign development and roll-out, collateral production coordination, sales launch and sales maintenance.
He's known for his hard work, exceptional interpersonal, multi-tasking, organizational, and communication skills. Reggie has demonstrated excellent attention to detail and a talent for marketing and sales.
"When I decided to start looking for my first home, two close friends of mine both strongly urged that I use the real estate agent they had used, Reggie Tanzola.
