About Me

Like many new Realtors®, I entered this industry thinking this business is about selling homes. Now 14 years in, I’ve come to realize that selling homes isn’t really the business we are in. Sure, the product is part of the process, but this business is really about people, their lives, and the problems that need to be solved.

The human element is what makes my job so interesting and challenging. You can take one home and put a hundred different sellers in it and the outcome will be different every time. The competitive, relentless nature of this business is also something I love. Stressful at times, and not always fun, but it keeps the fire burning!

Over the course of my real estate career I’ve been fortunate to have sold over 270 homes on the North Shore and have been just as fortunate to have had the crucial learning experiences that come from all the deals along the way that didn't work out! I know the North Shore like the back of my hand and I know this business inside and out. I am not the right fit for everyone and that’s OK! I learned long ago that being authentic is the only way to be, because when you are your authentic self, there is no competition.

Born and raised in North Vancouver, I still call the North Shore home. I now live in Bayridge, West Vancouver, a neighbourhood, that’s defined by its classic West Coast setting, large lots, unique homes, friendly neighbours, and top schools. I share my home with my wife, two children and our eight pets (!!), while my rare spare time is spent either hiking, biking, or playing hockey.

Prior to joining Rennie & Associates Realty in September 2020, I spent the previous seven years at VPG Realty, a real estate brokerage that I started back in 2013 and owned until the merger with Rennie last year (thanks to all who were part of that journey!). Moving forward under the Rennie banner, I am now back to what I am best at and what I love best, helping people and selling homes!
