New appointments solidify the company’s position as the innovative industry leader

After almost four decades of providing comprehensive real estate sales and marketing expertise throughout Canada and now in the US, rennie group is poised to take the company to the next level with the addition of three of the industry’s most respected and knowledgeable leaders, to its executive team.

Each will be responsible for a new division within rennie, including: rennie intelligence, rennie portfolio services, and rennie rental services/business development – helping to broaden the company's service offerings and provide added value to its clients. This strategic move by rennie exemplifies the company’s vision to continually innovate, always remain at the forefront, and meet the ongoing demands of the ever-changing, high growth real estate industry.

The new rennie leaders and divisions are as follows:

Andrew Ramlo, Vice President, Intelligence
The rennie intelligence team provides analytics, insights, and strategies to all facets of the rennie organization, its clients, and the broader real estate industry. Through various reports such as the rennie review – a monthly newsletter with the most up-to-date statistics available for the residential market – this new division will assist the rennie team and their clients in making informed decisions about real estate.

Ramlo brings 20 years of experience to the company and is known as one of Canada’s most respected demographers, and planning consultants. Prior to his role at rennie, Ramlo was Executive Director of Urban Futures, where he worked with many of the country’s leading investors, retailers, and developers. In 2010, he was recognized as one of Business in Vancouver’s Top 40 Under 40 for his vital contributions to the local business community, and is currently the President of the Planning Institute of BC. Ramlo is joined by Ryan Berlin, Senior Economist, who brings 12 years of demographic, economic, and housing market research experience to the team, as well as his continued presence as an engaging speaker to audiences across the country.

Jennifer Podmore Russell, Vice President, Portfolio Services

With the newly created rennie Portfolio Services, Podmore Russell and her work to build, maintain and grow private real estate portfolios in Canada. Podmore Russell brings her years of experience in optimizing both owned and leased portfolios to assist families and private companies in driving additional enterprise value from their real estate holdings. Through a data driven approach and utilizing the intelligence nascent to the rennie group, the division works to establish or refine long term portfolio strategies customized to an organizations objectives. Be it in the review of existing portfolios and the development of alternative strategies to realize value such as redevelopment, joint ventures or otherwise or in the creation of a new investment strategy to meet an organizations long term aspirations for return, Podmore Russell ensures that the solution is tailored to a family or company’s needs and capacities.

Podmore Russell has nearly two decades of experience in real estate strategy, portfolio planning and development advisory. Most recently she led the real estate division in BC for a top four accounting and consultancy firm. She was the founder and managing partner of MPC Intelligence, a research and analytics solution for the new home development industry in Western Canada and previously held senior roles within a Vancouver based developer and international real estate brokerage firm.

Ashley Willard Bauman, Senior Project Director, Rental Services/Business Development 
Addressing the changing needs of the real estate market, rennie has added a new division dedicated to new and emerging rental opportunities, helping to provide even more choices for how people live. Willard Bauman will work closely with rennie intelligence and rennie portfolio services to provide greater service offerings to developers and private investors. She will also apply her leadership experience to purpose-built rental projects, and focus her efforts on the growth of markets outside the Lower Mainland. With a real-estate career spanning 17 years, 14 countries including China, Australia, United States, and France and over $2 billion in revenue, Ashley is an expert in planning and marketing world-class neighbourhoods, resorts, purpose-built rental buildings, and commercial developments. Ashley has played leadership roles in many master planned communities including Wesbrook Village UBC, Tsawwassen Springs, the University District Calgary, as well as more than 12 resort communities.
