Meet Chris Ong, Conveyance Coordinator at rennie.
Why do you work with rennie?
I believe that there is no company like rennie, the culture is one of a kind. From day one, everyone has been genuine and treats you like family. rennie is like one big family. At rennie, everyone embodies a true passion for the role we play in the Vancouver real estate market. I also want to learn as much as I can from the best in the industry.
What makes you passionate about real estate?
The real estate industry is such a fascinating industry to be involved in. It is constantly evolving, and I get the opportunity to learn something new every day.
What do you value most in your friends?
I value honesty, humour and loyalty. With everyone living such a busy lives, those times we finally get together, when it feels like no time has passed - those are true friends.
What do you most value in your colleagues?
Strong work ethic, teamwork and humour.
If you had one extra hour every day, what would you do with it?
I would take that extra hour either to play basketball, cook new recipes, work out, go on a new hike or nap.
If you were travelling abroad for one week, and could only bring one item, what would it be and why?
I would bring my iPhone. It has everything I need on it: camera to capture my adventures, wallet, music, maps so I don’t get lost, internet to find the best spots to eat, Netflix, Starbucks app and social media to share all my travels.
If you could live in any neighbourhood in Vancouver, where would it be and why?
I would want to live in the Main Street / Mount Pleasant area. It's such a vibrant, hipster community with great eats, and it's very close to everything.
Tell us about your everyday essentials.
Venti Pike to start my day, Burberry Cologne so I can smell like bergamot, masculine heart of cedar and nutmeg with a touch of refined wild rose, pomade to keep my hair to the side, my prized sneaker rotation, basketball, iPhone to keep me connected with the world, car key to get me around, notepad and pen to jot ideas down.
Thanks Chris!
