rennie team tuesday - Lisa Truong

Meet Lisa Truong, a new member of our growing Advisor team.

What inspired you to join rennie?
I have met many rennie advisors over the years through my encounters, and I noticed that they all share similar qualities. Everyone is professional, friendly, and a good human being. Those are all characteristics that I value, so what better way to surround myself with that positive energy than to join rennie and be a part of it.

What got you into the real estate industry?
Since I was young, I have always admired beautiful homes and dreamt of one day designing and building my own house. Because of this, I really enjoy going to open houses and looking at how people design and live in their space.

What do you most look forward to about coming into the rennie office?
Connecting with other rennie advisors and learning a thing or two at the Monday Morning Coffee meetings.

What is your favourite part of the job?
Meeting new people and building relationships. It's very special when someone share tidbits of thier life with you and even more so when they trust you enough to want you to be a part of it.

What's one thing most people don't know about you?
I am afraid of cats.

How do you start your day?

I usually start my day by reading a personal development book, followed by a thirty minute workout.

What makes a home feel like a home?
A warm comfortable bed.

What’s the most memorable place you have travelled to?
When I visited the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp in Berlin, I was flooded with a range of emotions. In short, my experience there helped me realize how precious life is and how grateful I am for everything that I have.

What's the first spot you go to after coming home from a trip abroad?
A Vietnamese restaurant close to home for a big bowl of pho and then straight home to my warm bed to fight off jet lag.

Tell us about your everyday essentials.
I am constantly trying to better myself and reading has played a big part in helping me in this area. To keep myself organized, I like to write things down so the notebook and pen is a must for meetings and daily planning. I love exploring new cities, countries, cultures, and places. My passport has taken me to many places around the world. For both skin and hair care, I use essential oils because I am mindful of the products I put on my body. When diffused, essential oils invigorate my senses, leading to a more productive day, plus it also smells nice in my house.

Thank you, Lisa. Welcome to #teamrennie!
