An increase in new listings in the Vancouver Region in 2022 has lifted inventory out of the record-low territory it had occupied since July 2021. The big “but”? Sales in Greater Victoria were up significantly in October, marking the biggest September-to-October increase since 2000. This essentially put sales activity on par with typical levels for October, the first time sales have been at or above their monthly average since April 2022.
