The King County housing market capped off 2025 with atypically strong sales activity for the month of December. That being said, over the year, the region saw the second-lowest annual sales count and the highest annual inventory count in a decade.

The Vancouver Region recorded the fewest sales in any month in three years in January. Concurrently, the months of inventory metric was at its highest level since September 2012, with all home types in buyers’ market territory.
