Theo was born and raised on Vancouver’s West Side and has spent his adult life living across Whistler, Vancouver and the North Shore, giving him a keen understanding of Lower Mainland’s many nuances. He’s an expert when it comes to important details such as property values, school catchment areas, and the general “feel” of a neighbourhood.
Theo’s diverse background is all about client service. His experience in emergency services and adventure tourism allowed him to help people navigate potentially stressful situations with ease— a valuable skill that he now brings to his real estate clients. Before joining rennie, Theo owned and managed a real estate brokerage, where he bought and sold all types of real estate, ranging from starter condos to luxurious beach cottages and ski chalets, making him well-versed in the technical side of the real estate industry.
To help his clients find their next home, Theo works with them to identify their needs versus their wants. Real estate is, of course, a financial transaction, but lifestyle plays a major role in the ultimate decision, so Theo takes great care in helping his clients find the right home.
Theo, his wife and their two children live in North Vancouver’s Central Lonsdale. He loves the area for its close proximity to nature and community amenities. Theo considers himself an “experientialist”, meaning that he feeds off the endorphins gained from physical activity and adventure, ideally in the company of others. In his spare time, Theo can be found exploring his beautiful city on anything with wheels, be it a road bike, mountain bike, car, longboard or motorcycle, usually in search of ice cream.
