Earlier this week, our Senior Economist, Ryan Berlin, was in Toronto participating in the Ontario Housing Summit, where he spoke to the need for greater housing supply in both the Toronto region and here in Vancouver.
In addition to this, Ryan discussed the effects of recent demand-side housing market interventions in Ontario and in BC, the future of interest rates, and the need for a greater diversity of housing types. He was joined as part of his panel by Chris Wein, President of Great Gulf Residential, and renowned economist Jeff Rubin.
